MuralShield Matte is designed for the protection and conservation of fine art acrylic murals. It offers UV protection, consolidation, and weatherproofing.
Instructions: Shake MuralShield Matte thoroughly throughout the application process to properly mix the solution.

For long-lasting graffiti protection, apply over MuralShield. This sacrificial barrier enables quick removal of graffiti without surface damage, maintaining the mural's vibrancy.
Compatibility: Suitable for artist-grade acrylic paints, fine art aerosols, and collage or digitally printed murals on various substrates including uncoated concrete, wood, signage grade panels, exterior insulated finishing systems (EIFS), stuccos, CMU block walls, and painted/coated surfaces.

Surface Preparation
Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of contaminants. Apply MuralShield Matte in two coats, allowing adequate drying time between coats.

Graffiti Protection
For comprehensive graffiti resistance, apply over the cured MuralShield Matte. This combination creates a sacrificial barrier that allows for easy removal of graffiti without damaging the underlying mural.
Coverage Guidelines
Approximately 300 sq. ft. of coverage per gallon on painted or unpainted surfaces, depending on the substrate and application technique, for 2-3 coats of the product. (For example, an 800 sq. ft. mural will require 2-3 gallons of MuralShield Matte).
Exact coverage varies depending on type of stain and the porosity of surface material.
